International Studies Certificate

The International Studies Certificate integrates international content and cross-cultural knowledge throughout the student's degree program.

In addition to the International Studies Certificate, Columbus State University offers four international studies programs that span the globe. These programs help move the student body toward a more global view.

African Studies

Including a certificate program and study abroad opportunities, the African Studies program promotes the study of one of the world's most diverse continents.

Latin American Studies

Including a certificate program, a minor and visiting scholars, the Latin American Studies program teaches more about South America and Central America.

European Studies

Including a certificate program and visiting scholars, the European Studies program strives to boost understanding of the European states.

Medieval Renaissance Certificate

Including a certificate program and visiting scholars, the Medieval Renaissance program is a specialized branch in European Studies that focuses on the culture and society of the medieval era.

Asian Studies

An Asian Studies minor can help all students gain more understanding about Asian culture and help promote communication.

TESOL Certificate and ESOL Endorsement

The TESOL program, which offers a certificate and an endorsement, prepares students to teach English in the U.S and abroad.
