Jon Preston

Dr. Jon A Preston completed his PhD in Computer Science from Georgia State University with an emphasis on real-time collaborative editing systems.  His research focuses on distributed systems and location-aware mobile game/application development.  He previously studying Computer Science at Georgia Tech with emphasis on computer-mediated educational systems, graphics, and software engineering.

Dr. Preston founded the Bachelor of Science in Computer Game Design and was the founding director of the Center for Applied Gaming and Media Arts.  Please visit ksugames.blogspot.com and kennesaw.edu/academics.php for details on this degree and games-related activities at KSU.  He also previously served as Department Chair of the SWEGD Department.

Dr. Preston currently serves as Faculty Executive Assistant to President Papp.
