KSU's Online Learning Day

If you teach or develop online courses at Kennesaw State University, you will want to join us for the annual Unconference. This event is a unique professional learning opportunity including a technology showcase, featured speakers, faculty presentations, and more. The 2017 Unconference will take place February 24 at the KSU Center. The event will start at 9:00 am (check in at 8:30 am) and end at 4:00 pm. Mark your calendars!

Jeanne Bohannon

  • Jeanne Law Bohannon is an assistant professor of English and early-career distinguished faculty at Kennesaw State University.  She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in rhetorical grammar, research methods, and digital rhetorics.  Her research interests include: performing linguistic recoveries of underrepresented populations; conducting empirical studies in information literacies; and evaluating democratic-engagement learning in college writing.  She has published in the Bellaterra Journal; Peitho; and the WAC Clearinghouse Research Exchange Index.  She is also a blogger with Andrea Lunsford's Multimodal Mondays series.

    She believes in cultivating collaborative, democratic learning spaces where students become empowered stakeholders in their own rhetorical growth through engagement in diverse communities.  Follow Jeanne on Twitter: @drbohannon_ksu.

    Kimberly Bondeson

    • Kimberly Bondeson has taught middle and high school Language Arts and Writing since 1993 after graduating with a Masters in Education degree from Florida State University. Her experience includes a variety of settings including public, private, college, and home schooling. She has worked in traditional, blended, and online environments. Currently, she is employed by Gwinnett County Public Schools, the largest school district in Georgia. For the past six years, she has worked at Gwinnett Online Campus serving as a teacher, department chair, facilitator, and now as the Coordinator of Course Development. In this position she works closely with course developers to create rich digital content.

      KSU's Online Learning Unconference is an event planned by the KSU Distance Learning Center and the Director of Distance Education for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Funding for the event is provided by the KSU Office of Technology Enhanced Learning.
