The Kennesaw State University Farmers Market is managed by University Dining and was created to offer the KSU community the opportunity to purchase fresh, local and organically grown produce, products and goods from local farmers, growers, businesses and artisans.
Our purpose is to provide support for healthy growing practices, strengthen the local economy, encourage healthy lifestyles, educate the KSU community on sustainable agriculture and support the sustainability efforts at Kennesaw State University.
The KSU Farmers Market is held each spring and fall semester at the Kennesaw Campus. The spring 2018 market will run from February 28 to May 2. The market is held every Wednesday (weather permitting) on the green space between The Commons Campus and Prillaman Hall from 10:00AM – 2:00PM.
Kennesaw State has partnered with Forerunner Foods to offer Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) memberships at the Farmers Market. Each membership or “share” include local and seasonal produce, grown and harvested exclusively in the state of Georgia. Produce is delivered to the KSU Farmers Market for convenient pickup, every Wednesday for ten weeks beginning February 28.
