Workshops

Our educational workshops are designed to provide valuable information and insight to students on a variety of topics and are a great option for many students. All workshops are FREE and confidential. Students do not need to be a CPS client or complete and CPS paperwork to attend. Drop on in!!

  • Designed for students who find themselves under stress from academic pressure, life changes, relationships, and a variety of other sources.  We will teach students how to identify and manage stress through the use of various techniques including relaxation, decision making, positive self talk, and clear communication.

  • Learn how to relax and rejuvenate your mind and body through meditation. This workshop is designed for those who do not have time to relax, who are juggling multiple roles, and/or who want to learn useful relaxation techniques.

    Join us for multiple rejuvenating meditation excercises outdoors.  Studies show that fresh air and time in nature can improve our mental health. We will meet in Lot Z over by the Science Building.  (map)

  • Relationships are complicated. Whether it's conflict with your mom, trouble making friends, or struggling with your significant other, this workshop can help you learn strategies and techniques to have more meaningful relationships, in all areas of life.

  • Sometimes being a guy is tough. Opening up is even tougher. This workshop will allow male-identifying individuals to talk in a safe space with other males about issues and experiences unique to being a guy. And the best part is you don't even have to leave your room! This is a virtual workshop powered by Google Hangouts. Please register by emailing agriggs4@kennesaw.edu to reserve your spot.
