Symposiums and Workshops (Spring 2018):

  • "Workshop on Poverty and Inequality" (Friday, February 2, 2018) -- This event, co-organized with the "Foundation for Economic Education," is tentatively scheduled to take place from 11:00am to 4:45pm. It will examine issues related to poverty and inequality from an economic perspective. More information will be posted in the near future.
  • "Symposium on Criminal Justice and Inmate Reform" (Friday, March 2, 2018) -- This event will take place from 10:00am to 4:50pm and will feature presentations by KSU faculty Peter Fenton and James McCafferty, former Hillsdale College faculty Burt and Anita Folsom, and AEI Scholar Gerard Robinson, plus a screening of the documentary film "Incarcerating US." More information will be posted in the near future.

Lectures (Spring 2018):

  • Daniel Griswold (Tuesday, January 30, 2018) -- Two guest lectures will be given by Daniel Griswold (Mercatus Center Senior Research Fellow and Co-Director of the Program on the American Economy and Globalization). More information will be posted in the near future.
  • Mark Perry (Monday, March 5, 2018) -- Two guest lectures will be given by Mark Perry (AEI Research Scholar and University of Michigan-Flint Professor of Economics and Finance). More information will be posted in the near future.

Film Screenings (Spring 2018):

  • "American Made Movie" (Thursday, February 15, 2018) -- Screening of the documentary film "American Made Movie," plus a panel discussion led by filmmaker Nathaniel McGill. More information will be posted in the near future.
  • "Globalization at the Crossroads" (Wednesday, April 11, 2018) -- Screening of the documentary film "Globalization at the Crossroads." More information will be posted in the near future.
  • "Power to the People" (Thursday, April 19, 2018) -- In celebration of "Earth Day 2018," there will be a screening of the documentary film "Power to the People." More information will be posted in the near future.
