Summer Tree Identification Workshop

Classes and Workshops

Learn to identify common trees of the Georgia Piedmont by their leaves, bark, branching patterns, and tree form. Use a hand lens and a dichotomous key for woody plants to identify species. Class time will be divided between classroom exercises and a field trip to the woods at the Botanical Garden.
