    For Jennell Smith, it’s been a long journey since her 2005 high school commencement, but the vivacious soprano and first-generation Kennesaw State student is looking forward to graduating this month with a bachelor’s degree in choral music education, summa cum laude. Then, it’s on to a new challenge as a music teacher in the hurricane-ravaged British Virgin Islands.

  • 2017 Alumni Holiday Open House

    Approximately 200 alumni and friends of Kennesaw State University braved rainy weather outside to attend the 2017 Alumni Holiday Open House the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 5. A signature event of the KSU Alumni Association, this annual gathering held at the Alumni House featured plenty of delicious food and beverages, along with lots of holiday cheer!

  • Russell ’92 chosen as honorary inductee into Beta Gamma Sigma

    Mike Russell ’92, a member of the Kennesaw State University Alumni Association board of directors, was chosen to be this fall’s honorary inductee into Beta Gamma Sigma by KSU’s Coles College of Business.

  • Recent double-major honors graduate took advantage of opportunities, now working in philanthropy

    A recent graduate of Kennesaw State University is off and running in her chosen field of philanthropy after being a very active and successful student. In May, Sydney Faye Williams ’17 earned a Bachelor of Science in both human services and sociology with cum laude honors.
